Terms and Conditions
We are committed to giving you the very best service. We want you to have experiences that you will cherish forever. Our T&Cs are designed to help us achieve this by being fair to you and us and by making things as clear as possible.
Your safety is our highest priority. If you are not safe, or do not feel safe, you won’t enjoy your time with us. Because of this, we:
1. Reserve the right to refuse service at any time with no refund if we consider you to be unsafe or irresponsible, or if you do not follow instructions, disobey marine/national park regulations or are otherwise disrespectful to our staff, other clients or the general public.
2. Adhere to a strict policy of “everything in moderation”! Many of our activities require alertness of mind and bodily co-ordination – for your safety, the safety of others and to protect the environment, such as sensitive reefs. For this reason, if you show up for any activity hung-over or smelling of alcohol, we won’t take you along with us and we won’t issue you a refund.
3. Ask you to be honest about your health and physical condition. You don’t need to be able to do an Ironman but almost all of the things we do require some level of physical exertion. With a realistic assessment of your capabilities we can tailor your activities to maximise your enjoyment in an environment that is safe for everyone.
4. Require completion of medical questionnaires for some activities prior to accepting you onto them. All PADI diving courses, including Discover Scuba Diving (the introductory dive experience), require participants to complete a standard medical statement (Link to PADI Medical Form). Answering ‘yes’ to any of the questions doesn’t mean you can’t do the course – it just means that we’ll need you to bring a doctor’s certificate confirming that you’re OK to dive.
When you book a place with us, that place is yours and no-one else’s. The deposit that we request from you covers direct costs that we incur and organisational fees. If you cancel at the last minute, we are unable to recover these outgoings. This is why we request a deposit for reservations made more than 72 hours in advance and payment in full if you make a booking within 72 hours of the start time.
We’ll always do what we can to accommodate changes in your schedule. However, please bear in mind that the personal nature of our service – in contrast to mass-market offerings – often involves special arrangements, which means that short-notice rescheduling may not be possible.
If you request rescheduling within 72 hours of the start time and we are unable to rearrange successfully, we do not refund your deposit.
We refund 100% of the deposit paid for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the tour date.
We do not issue a refund for no-shows, late arrivals or cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the tour date..
The most likely reason for cancellation on our side is the weather – like all things in nature, it can occasionally be unpredictable! If we cancel an activity for unfavorable weather conditions or for any other reason, we offer you the option to reschedule the activity or receive a 100% refund.
Discounts for children may be available depending on the activity – please ask us for details.
Group discounts – we specialize in offering personal, tailored service, which typically means small groups of up to 8 people. If your group is larger than this, please contact us so we can make special arrangements for you.
We never share your details with anyone else without your permission.
