Into the Blue
– Mobula Ray Migration

Every year from April to August and then from late November to January, Baja is the home to the largest and most spectacular mass migration of Mobula Rays in the world.

Here the Mobulas congregate to breed and feed, in schools of thousands close to the shore in 2 principal locations: La Ventana in April and May and then around Cabo San Lucas in June to Mid August

They often leap out of the water to attract a mate as seen on amazing documentaries like BBC Shark,  Blue Planet and National Geographic. These rays are totally harmless and your expert guide will ensure that you can slip in the water and snorkel or freedive with this spectacle of nature without effecting the behavior of the schools. We’ll also be looking out for other cool marine life; orcas, dolphins, turtles and sealions, when it’s possible to jump in with our coolest ocean wanderers we will.

The Mobula activity is better in the early mornings as the overhead sun exposes them to their predators and they dive into deeper water.  La Ventana is 2.5hours by car from Cabo San Lucas so this is an early start and a full day trip, please read the inclusions below for these trips.

Your guide will also be busy taking photos and videos of your awesome experience to send them to you after your tour so you have the memories to share with your friends.
